I know, the term early is relative.
What’s early to you might be late for me. Or what’s early for me might be late for you.
In this context, less establish that early is around 6 am or earlier.

Usually, your first thought in the morning is what you last thought about before going to bed.
Remember the time where you were so excited about something the next day?
I remember growing up, I was always excited when our School Trip was near. I could barely sleep the day before.
Now in that case, the last thought I had going to sleep was the upcoming School Trip. Guess what I thought about first thing in the morning when I woke up?
You guessed it, it’s Field Trip Day.
Another example would be the night before your first day in a new job. What do you think was the last thing you thought of before going to sleep, and what was the first thing you thought of waking up?
Put your alarm clock across the room if you can.
That way, you have to stand up and physically walk to stop the noise.
Movement wakes up your body.
You’ll be less inclined to click that dreaded snooze button and get back to bed.
The point why it was suggested to brush your teeth is because you want to do something mindlessly, something so easy that your body automatically knows what to do out of habit. It allows your body to fully wake up and be ready for the day.
It’s very important to hydrate yourself after waking up. 6 to 8 hours without any water will leave your body dehydrated.
Imagine yourself not drinking any water while awake for 6 to 8 hours.
That’s it! I know waking up early in the working is challenging.

I think the most important thing here is identifying why you want to wake up early.
Once you know your why, you will find ways how you can get yourself to also wake up early in the morning.
